Does your living room look regular? A large sofa facing the television with a chair or two flanked on either side, the tried and tested layout? Thought of making a change and didn't know how? We have a simple tip and a piece of furniture that can help refresh your living room design in an instant!
I love vintage furniture and accessories and currently crushing hard on Senufo stools (a popular items on our store). They are designers' much-loved piece and can be styled in more than one way.

Simple wooden stools hand-carved out of a single block of wood, traditionally used by the women of African namesake tribe to carry out daily chores, like washing clothes, milking cows, cooking food, etc. Each Senufo stool is different though almost all have a concave top, thick simple legs, and classic look.

1. Side table
Used popularly as side tables, they look gorgeous next to any sofa or armchair. Below is a house in House and Leisure in South Africa.

If you are fan of neutral palette, paint them white or any color that may please you. Pretty in white, this stool does make a statement.

2. Coffee table
Another great placement for these tables are as coffee table. Get a large Senufo bench or clump a few pieces of Senufo stools as one coffee table.

3. Additional seating
As the name suggests, these are perfect for additional seating in your living room. Switch an armchair or two with these stunners, they will help refresh the setting and help ground the look.

4. Bench
Senufo stools look great when placed as a bench, be it in a hallway, foyer or at the end of the bed. Just so beautiful!

5. Towel holder (Bonus! )
A bonus and great tip! Use this stunner in your bathroom to hold your towels, clothes, etc. They not only look great and get the job done.

These stools have become one of the most used furniture piece by designers' and decorators' alike, the simplicity of their design defines its luxurious look! We love these guys and offer them in various sizes as well. Find 'em and other stunning African pieces.
